Are You Eligible for Home Health Care?

Do you have Medicare?

At Lotus Home Health Care, Inc., we follow Medicare’s general guidelines to help individuals determine whether they qualify for in-home services. If you or a loved one are facing challenges with health or mobility, home health care might be the right solution.

You may benefit from home health care if you:

  • Are recovering at home after a recent hospital stay, surgery, or rehabilitation

  • Need skilled nursing care such as IV therapy, wound care, or injections

  • Have a wound that is slow to heal or requires regular attention

  • Live with a chronic condition that impacts daily function (e.g., COPD, diabetes, heart failure)

  • Have difficulty breathing or managing respiratory symptoms

  • Recently had hip or knee replacement surgery and need help with mobility or strengthening

  • Have experienced falls at home or are at risk for future falls

  • Have had a recent flare-up or worsening of a known diagnosis

  • Recently started a new medication or had a change in dosage

  • Were recently discharged from the hospital and need follow-up care

  • Are struggling to manage daily tasks or live independently at home

  • Live alone and are concerned about safety or support

  • Experience persistent or chronic pain

  • Are receiving care under a physician’s established plan of care that includes progress reviews

  • Require intermittent skilled services such as:

    • Nursing care

    • Physical therapy

    • Speech-language therapy

    • Ongoing occupational therapy

  • Find it difficult to leave the home without significant effort or assistance

If any of the above apply to you or your loved one, home health care could provide the care, support, and peace of mind needed to recover or maintain health at home.
